I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to make my own beetroot hummus, but I’m going to be making so much of it from now on! It takes a matter of minutes, it's that simple.
So if you’re looking for a new dip idea, you’ve got to try this one!
- EASY BEETROOT HUMMUS -
You will need:
- 1 tin of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 garlic clove
- Juice from 1 lemon
- 1 heaped tbsp tahini
- 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cooked beetroots
- 2 large ice cubes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Method -
1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas and add them to a food processor along with the garlic, lemon juice, tahini, olive oil, beetroots and ice cubes.
2. Add some salt and pepper to taste.
3. Blend until smooth.
4. Serve with some veggie salted popped crisps and enjoy!
