I have combined my love for peanut butter and spicy food to make these tofu bao buns! so if you love peanut butter and spicy food you need to try this recipe!

- PEANUT GOCHUJANG TOFU BAO BUNS -
You will need:
- 1 block of firm tofu, drained and pressed
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
- 4 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 6 bao buns
- spring onions
- 1 red chilli
- sesame seeds
Method:
1. Cut the tofu into small chunks and place them in a bowl. Coat with the cornflour.
2. In a pan on medium heat, add the vegetable oil.
3. Once hot, add the tofu and allow to cook for around 7-8 minutes until golden. Add the ginger and garlic before prepping the sauce.
4. In a bowl, combine the peanut butter, gochujang, soy sauce, maple syrup and water. Whisk until smooth.
5. Pour the sauce over the tofu and cook for a further few minutes.
6. Heat up your bao buns and fill them with the tofu.
7. Top with spring onion, slices of red chilli and sesame seeds!
